+How do I find my Friend ID?
Log into myspace and click on "View My Profile". Look at the location URL bar, the number at the end of the URL is your friend ID. The following picture demonstrates this. The friend ID is highlighted.
+How does AddSpace work?
There are many other "MySpace Whoring" websites, but none are quite like AddSpace. AddSpace uses a system where you gain 3 credits for adding someone, but when someone adds you it costs you 1 credit. This insures that the Add Users list is constantly rotating, rather than staying fairly static. Total credits do not get deducted. For a detailed explanation, read on. On other websites, once 600 users get 600 'points' no one past that point on the list gets added. Why? Because you can only add 600 people a day, the 600 people you add will be those first 600 people to get 600 'points'. So if you weren't one of the first 600 people to get 600 'points', bad luck. You won't be on the list. However, using our system, the users who participate the most get just as many requests, but every time they get requested they are pushed back a little bit. The people who don't get requested as much get moved up, which means that they have a much more higher chance of being added, and the process goes on.
+I updated my username and/or picture on myspace and it didn't update here.
Simple. Go to AddSpace's home page, log in, and then click on your name which is above your picture. This will reload your myspace information into the database.
+How come you only let me add 600 people?
This is a restriction that MySpace.com imposes, not us. Unfortunately there is nothing we can do about MySpace's limit.
+There is a problem with the site. How can I report it?
You can send an email to addspace [at] gmail [dot] com. Remember to include your friend id, what you were trying to do and on what page you encountered the error. We encourage you to do so as it helps us keep the site at optimal running condition.
+I want to suggest a feature.
Send your idea to addspace [at] gmail [dot] com. Include your friend id, because if your feature gets added you will get 1 week VIP free of charge!
+Who made AddSpace?
AddSpace was designed and programmed by just 1 person. Though I can't give out my name or MySpace URL (because MySpace will probably delete me for creating this website), I can tell you that I am an 18 year old guy studying the Advanced Diploma of Computer Science. I like programming, and I created this website to learn php and MySQL. That's right, before I made this website I had never touched php or MySQL before! Other languages I know include Visual Basic (6 and .NET), C, Java, and web technologies such as xhtml and css. I am a perfectionist, and I take pride in writing code that never results in an error for the users. And if inevitably an error occurs - the program will alert the user of what happened, not just die in the backside. If you know of anyone that needs a programmer like me in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia then send an email to addspace [at] gmail [dot] com because I'd be very happy to get some offers coming my way.
AddSpace is not affiliated with MySpace.com
